SalahScope is designed so city prayer-time pages work without user accounts. Interactive map features may use browser-provided location only when the user grants permission.

Location and map usage

The browser geolocation feature is optional and is used to calculate or display prayer context for the user-selected location. City prayer-time pages are generated from the server-only GeoNames catalog and do not require browser location.

Public map credentials, when configured, are browser-restricted keys intended for client-side map rendering.

Operational logs

Hosting providers may process standard request metadata needed to serve pages, secure the service and troubleshoot production issues.

Firebase Analytics

SalahScope initializes Firebase Analytics in the browser only when the Firebase web configuration and measurement ID are configured. Analytics is used for aggregate product and performance measurement, not for user accounts or personalized prayer-time profiles.

SalahScope does not intentionally record exact geolocation, prayer search content tied to a personal identity or sensitive user data. Browser location remains permission-based and is used for the requested map or prayer-time interaction.
